Caroline Soares de Almeida

She is a postdoctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Anthropology at the Federal University of Pernambuco. PhD and Master in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, graduated in History from the same institution and Bachelor in Physical Education from the State University of Santa Catarina. She is currently sub-coordinator of the Center for Audiovisual Anthropology and Image Studies (NAVI/UFSC) and  researcher at the Visual Anthropology Laboratory (LAV/UFPE). She has dedicated herself to researching the life stories and careers of women in football. Coordinates, alongside Wagner Xavier de Camargo, the thematic line "Footballs for women, indigenous people and LGBTQIA+".
