Antonio Jorge Gonçalves

Full Professor at the Faculty of Education - UFRJ. He completed a post-doctoral internship at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and at the University of Porto-FADE-UP (2007-2008). He is a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Education-UFRJ, in the line of Research on Public Policies and Educational Institutions. He served as leader (2008-2020) of the Education Research Laboratory of the Corps-CNPq (LABEC), and is a member-researcher from the Center for Studies and Research on Education and Contemporary Society- UFSC, from the Center for Studies on the Education of Senses and Sensibilities/NUPES, from FAE/UFMG and PROTEORIA-UFES.  PQ-Cnpq Productivity Fellow since 2005 and Scientist of Our State with funding (2012-2015; 2015-2018; 2019-2022; 2023-current).  He is the author of scientific articles, books, book chapters and scientific popularization articles linked to the themes  football, racism in sport, schooling, quilombola education, body education, school physical education and public education and sport policies.
